I don’t agree because I’ve read “Capitalism: the unknown ideal” by Ayn Rand.

Thank you for reading and for sharing your perspective. We appreciate people bringing different reference points into the discussion - even when they don’t align with ours.

Ayn Rand’s Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal argues for a moralised, individualist version of capitalism. It’s a worldview we don’t subscribe to, largely because it treats structural power as either irrelevant or virtuous. Our article is looking at something very different: how modern grievance-politics works, how powerful figures present themselves as victims, and how that inversion shapes public life.

Rand’s framework doesn’t really address that dynamic - the media machinery, the emotional manipulation, or the way resentment is manufactured and weaponised. That’s the terrain we’re analysing.

Still, we’re glad you joined the conversation, and we always welcome disagreement that helps sharpen the debate.
